A Spring Soiree: Music and Art to Celebrate the Season. |
| Summary: |
“BEVA AT 80” The art of Beva Farmer and the music of the Santa Rosa Children’s Chorus, Carol Menke, music director. Beva Farmer is a graphic artist who specializes in calligraphy, serigraphy, and gouache painting. Her art is influenced by nature, particularly the shores of Monterey Bay, the Santa Lucia Mountains, and the meadows and forests of Northern California. This collection highlights the entire span of her life. The show is in memory of her husband Peter Farmer. The Children’s Chorus will sing a portion of their spring repertoire to begin our soiree. A gala reception follows.
