The Festival Consort’s Christmas Concert Renaissance Glory |
| Summary: |
Members of the Festival Consort are Carol Menke soprano, Christopher Fritzsche counter tenor, Douglas Mandell tenor, with Joanna Bramel Young, David Hogan Smith and Alan Paul playing recorders, crumhorns, gittern, doucaine, shawms, sackbut, trumpets, and pipe and tabor. Favorite traditional carols will be heard, as well as stirring works for early instruments, both loud and soft. Composers include Dufay, Praetorius, Victoria, Josquin, Costeley and Ciconia.
