| Event: | Julian: A One Woman Play |
| Summary: |
0 A Play Based on the Life of Julian of Norwich by J. JANDA featuring EMILY WILMER as Dame Julian Directed by Bob Curtis Julian of Norwich Does a 14th century woman have anything to teach a 21st century people? Julian of Norwich, mystic, recluse, spiritual guide and author of Revelations of Divine Love speaks across the centuries to share with us a God that is courteous, all-loving & all-forgiving. Her theology is one of hope and wholeness. Her time in history was not unlike ours. She survived three outbreaks of the Black Plague, the Peasant’s Revolt, the Great Western Schism and the Hundred Year War. Yet through it all, she saw and experienced the goodness of God and the certainty that “all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well”. |
