Celebrate the Spring Equinox
Traditional Balkan Dance & Song |
| Summary: |
Taught by Jana Muhar and Tanya Kostova Jana Muhar will lead us through Eastern European dances as Gradina sings and Jana and Kate play traditional music. During this festive event, you are invited to make traditional tassels called Martenitsas. Tanya, a native Bulgarian dance teacher, will help us understand the meaning of this lovely ancient Bulgarian custom. These tassels are given to friends and family as a wish for good health, abundance and happiness. |
